Donald Trump doesn't see himself as old
Donald Trump doesn’t see himself as being old. He believes he’s that same young man he was back in the seventies, and not this old man he’s become in his seventies.
Ol’ Trump there made this clear with his tweet to none other than the younger version of himself, North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un.
Trump tweeted, “Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me “old” when I would NEVER call him “short and fat”; Oh well, I try so hard to be his friend - and maybe someday that will happen!”
Here, Trump is saying that Kim Jong-un doesn’t have to point out the obvious to folks.
And Trump’s age is an obvious fact about him, while Kim Jong-un’s weight is an obvious fact about him.
So yeah, Trump knows that he’s old but he doesn’t want folks to see him as old because being old means you’re vulnerable and you’re going downhill.
Let Trump tell it, he has just as much energy as a young man has. To Trump, 70 is the new 7. Trump doesn’t need any Gatorade or energy shots.
His adrenaline just keeps pumping and pumping and it is why Trump only needs four hours of sleep to replenish himself from his hard day of work.
In fact, Trump goes around telling folks he gets 4 hours of sleep. But as us reasonable folks know, Trump is too old to get just 4 hours of sleep a day.
Old folks take morning naps, afternoon naps, evening naps, and night naps all before they finally go to bed.
And during the times that they are awake, all old folks do is watch the news and fuss about what they’ve seen on the news.
Trump is no different. He watches the news and then he gets on Twitter and fusses about what he’s seen on the news.
Trump’s favorite news media to hate is CNN and MSNBC. It’s normal for old folks to hate something or someone.
Their hate makes them feel alive and young. In this respect, Trump is a normal old man. He’s 71. He’s an AARP member. He gets Social Security and Medicare. Trump can go to Denny’s and get free breakfast.
His age gives him access to stuff that folks who are above 12 and below 65 can’t get.
Trump is old but he should be happy about it because the one thing he got that folks who are 0 months-34 can’t get is a chance to become president.
